Pandora Radio is a digital music streaming service that intuitively builds you a personalised radio station based on a minimal amount of songs or artists inputted from you - great for those who know what they like but who don't necessarily have an encyclopaedic music mind, or who simply want to explore new music without having to trawl reviews first.
You start off easily by adding the name of a song or artist; Pandora then feeds more music by that artist and more like it by using clever algorithms that intelligently match that artist's style. The more you add the wider the personalised choice will be - I tried it with a few and it came up with some great suggestions. If your tastes are varied however it will require a bit more time spent on building your profile. Although Pandora Radio now has more competition by way of music streaming services it is still unique in its clever personalising service. With new features in this updated version it's even easier to get a complete range of tracks to suit you, with minimal effort and knowledge on your part.
Conclusion: A great, free bit of kit for music lovers without the patience or memory to select every track they know, or simply don't want to waste the time doing so. It lacks some of the features of its rivals such as Spotify however.
